Better known as the new breed of Texas dj’s, Exceed aka Brett Stovall is not only known for his skills behind the decks and for his impeccable track selection, but also for the intense crowd connection he builds on every dance floor. That is what truly makes him stand out from the rest. Starting on the streets in 2003 this Texas born DJ has been holding down multiple residences from the age of 17. Since then he has become a Texas favorite and has taken the Electronic dance music scene by storm performing at clubs and raves all over the state as well as Ultra Music Festival, Nocturnal, Electric Daisy carnival and making appearances in Nevada, Florida, Colorado, Kansas, Maryland, Arkansas, Utah and Alaska.
In 2006 he teamed up with Area 512 Entertainment and collaborated on many successful events. In 2009 he also joined the Irresponsible Voltron DJ Collective which is currently defending the universe against all that is evil every Thursday at Barcelona in Austin Tx. Exceed’s DJ style combines different elements of the freshest cutting edge dance music that takes you on a cross genre journey through beats per minute. When asked how does it feel to control the crowd he replied, “You got it backwards, the crowd is what controls me.” This young prodigy has now shared stages with exclusive acts such as: Tiesto, Rusko, Glitch Mob, Jeremy Dawson of Shiny Toy Guns, Richard Vission, SKYLAB2000, Designer Drugs, Frankie Bones, Bad Boy Bill, DJ Bam Bam, DJ Craze, Charles Feelgood, Superstar DJ Keoki, Aphrodite, Wolfgang Gartner, Steve Aoki, Le Castle Vania, Paparazzi, LA Riots, Infected Mushroom, Rabbit in the Moon, Will Bailey, & Franki Chan just to name a few.
Currently when Exceed isn’t out on the streets or melting faces on the dance floor, You can find him in the studio turning out several tracks,remixes and bootlegs. The Original Mix of his first EP release “Gotta Get Up” Charted at #14 on Beatport’s Top 100 Electro Downloads.
